How a chapter plays

1. Start as Cantor, Warden, or Kindler replaces the save and opens the loft. Continue saved story returns to the saved page.
2. Walk the Vale with the arrow keys or a click. Stand next to the shade and the fight window opens.
3. In a fight, Move, then Act, then Wait. Gold tiles are steps you can take. A shield act puts Raise on your card and a ring on the figure until your next turn. Veil, oath, and haste leave their own rings. The practice fight uses Glyph, Claw Rend, and Fracture.
4. The wheel takes Measures, not levels. Spend them in the Hatchery or from the card on the road. Respec costs 30 Embers, once a chapter.
5. Leave a window with its button or Escape. The radio keeps playing. Options holds its volume.

Radio 60% Effects 80% Reduced motion

Radio and effects stay with the save. Reduced motion holds the title still. The fight still steps.
