About chatagent.ca
Who I am
My name is Justin Helmer. Online I publish as Excavationpro and, in LYGO creative lore, Lightfather. I build music, free tools, documentation systems, and educational pages for people who use AI seriously without surrendering judgment.
chatagent.ca is one front door: guides first, tools second, policies always visible.
Mission
Help people brief agents well, hand work across sessions, keep secrets out of chats, and treat completion as something checkable. Do it with free resources and honest limits.

Support
Guides and tools stay free. Optional tips help pay hosting. A donation is not a paywall and does not buy extra access.

Independence
This site is independent. It is not owned by Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or xAI. When AdSense appears, it is a funding mechanism, not an editorial partner. Sponsored content, if ever accepted, would be labeled.
What I actually do
Most of the work is unglamorous: writing a guide, testing a tool until it fails, reading the source of a skill before recommending it, and keeping the public pages consistent with the repositories. The music and lore are the creative layer; the guides and tools are the working layer. Both are mine, and both are labeled.
Concrete examples: the protocol guide is checked against the public repository and ledger URLs; the review checklist exists because confident output is not the same as checked output; the SkillHub labels what is free to read and what is a supporter package. If a page cannot point to the thing it describes, it is not finished.
How the guides are made
Each guide starts with a real task or a real failure: a handoff that lost context, a redaction that missed a key, a “done” claim that could not be re-checked. I test the steps against the tool or the public record, then write the page so another person can repeat them. AI may help with drafting or editing; the byline is human, and the human is responsible for the published claim.
Claims that can be checked get a link, a command, or a date. Claims that cannot be checked are written as opinion, not fact. When a page changes materially, the visible date changes too. The full process is on the editorial standards page.
What this site is not
It is not a news organization, a model provider, a course platform, or a review farm. It is not affiliated with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or xAI, and it does not speak for them. Nothing here is legal, medical, or financial advice. The champion personas are creative roles, not licensed professionals and not evidence of machine sentience.
It is also not a complete archive of everything I have made. The site keeps the pages that have a job: a guide that answers a question, a tool that can be opened, a record that can be checked. Experiments that lose their job are retired or folded into a better page.
How to check a claim about me
You do not have to take the bio on faith. The public repositories are at github.com/DeepSeekOracle; the protocol claims are checkable through the links in the protocol guide; the contact path is on the contact page. If a claim about me cannot be checked, treat it as a claim, not a credential.
Why the pages look plain
The design is reading-first: a narrow measure, a visible date, working links, and no pop-up maze. Tools get their own screens; guides get prose and tables. Ads, when approved, are kept off thin pages and away from the reading path. A page should still work if the ad fails, the network is slow, or JavaScript is off.
FAQ
Are you a company?
No. This is an independent publisher project by Justin Helmer, publishing as Excavationpro. “Lightfather” is a creative steward persona used in the LYGO material.
Do you accept guest posts or paid links?
No undisclosed paid placements. Sponsored content, if ever accepted, would be labeled and kept out of the guides. The default is no.
Can I reuse a guide?
You may quote a short passage with attribution and a link. Do not republish the full text or sell it. For anything beyond a quotation, ask first through the contact page.
Why do some pages mention LYGO lore?
Because the project is also a creative world. The rule is that lore must not be used to hide a technical claim. When a page makes a checkable claim, it should link to the check.
How do I report an error?
Use the contact page with the page URL and the sentence. Corrections are part of the record, not an embarrassment.
